The method involves obtaining several frames which are detected by a camera device (14). An area-of-interest (107) is identified within the frame for increasing the resolution with respect to the detail per pixel. The spatially implemented super-resolution is applied to the area-of-interest within the frame so as to increase the image sharpness within the area-of-interest.
