The present invention relates to a recliner of a vehicle seat comprising: an external gear bracket having a penetration hole through which a rotating shaft penetrates; an internal gear bracket having a central protrusion which is inserted into the penetration hole and protrudes from one surface; a power transfer unit for rotating the external gear bracket to mesh with the internal gear bracket. The power transfer unit includes: a socket block having a socket protrusion which is formed on one surface and has a penetration hole through which the rotating shaft penetrates to be connected to a spline; a pair of wedge blocks which cover an outer circumferential surface of a central protrusion; a wedge spring which is supported by the socket block, and whose both ends are bent and inserted into a space between a pair of the wedge blocks, and which elastically pushes the wedge block; and a load distribution member which is disposed between the socket block and a pair of the wedge blocks to distribute a load applying to the central protrusion by the wedge block. As a result, by supporting the inner circumferential surface of the wedge block by boss plates disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the central protrusion of an internal gear and in the socket block, the wedge block does not incline so that the internal gear can continuously mesh with an external gear, thereby preventing the malfunction of the recliner. |
