The present invention relates broadly to a method of constructing an infrastructure project. The invention according to its broadest aspect has the following characteristics: 1. An infrastructure project notionally divided into a plurality of investment unit operations 5 each capable of generating energy; 2. One or more of the investment unit operations are sold to or purchased by investors to at least partly fund the infrastructure project; 3. The investors are provided with investment returns via: i. Income derived from energy or water generated by the investors in investment 0 unit operations; ii. A tax deduction available to the investor via their purchase of the investment unit operation. |
