METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOTOCATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for manufacturing a photocatalyst having enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible light.SOLUTION: The method includes: a first step of mixing titanium butoxide into an aqueous organic solvent solution, heating the mixture up to 150 to 220°C so as to hydrolyze the titanium butoxide, and drying the hydrolysate to form into an intermediate product; and a second step of firing the intermediate product at 150 to 300°C.
