PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of being arranged compactly as a whole, and a turbo refrigerator including the compressor.SOLUTION: A compressor 2 includes a rotating shaft 12, a plurality of impellers attached to the rotating shaft, a main flow channel for guiding a fluid from the impeller of a former stage to the impeller of a latter stage, a chamber 31 having the annular shape around an axis line and communicated with the main flow channel, a suction nozzle 32 for introducing the fluid into the chamber from an outer peripheral side toward an inner peripheral side, a plurality of movable vanes disposed in the main flow channel at intervals in the circumferential direction of the axis line, and adjusting a flow rate of the fluid circulated in the main flow channel by moving, and a driving mechanism 42 disposed at one side in the circumferential direction of the suction nozzle 32 in the chamber 31 and changing an angle of the plurality of movable vanes. The suction nozzle 32 is inclined toward the other side, of one side and the other side in the circumferential direction in the chamber 31 so that the flow rate of the fluid to the other side is increased. |
