PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft seal gate valve that can improve exudation, can be used while restricting peeling of carbon or the like, a valve member and a rubber sheet are closely attached under a high accuracy to prevent peeling of the rubber sheet, realize its high sealing characteristic to prevent leakage of fluid and at the same time an excessive fastening of the valve member can be prevented while scar to the sliding portion of the valve member and a valve case is being prevented.SOLUTION: A valve seat 6 and a cutoff plane 7 arranged in a valve case 2 are sealed by a valve member 1 lifting or lowering in a crossing direction in respect to a flow passage 5 in the valve case 2 so as to open or close the flow passage 5 of the valve case 2. Rubber lining is applied to base material 10 so as to provide each of a valve member seal 31 and a cut-off plane 32 and at the same time a part of resin or hard rubber stopper restricting over-fastening of the valve member 1 while being abutted against the cutoff plane 7 is wound into the valve member 1 by the rubber lining and fixed there. The stopper is integrally or separately provided with a guide part and this guide part can be guided to a guide surface arranged at the valve case 2. |
