The present invention relates to a tact switch for an electronic component, which comprises: a pattern assembly including an upper pattern and a lower pattern that are electrically connected to each other to form a circuit pattern with an insulation panel having a specific thickness and being interposed between the upper and lower patterns; a metal dome mounted on a surface of the upper pattern and elastically bent when a button of an electronic component is pressed, and configured to electrically connect the upper pattern and the lower pattern; and a reinforcing plate guiding installation of the upper pattern and preventing the metal dome from being deviated or separated. The reinforcing plate has a specific thickness and is mounted on the lower pattern on the exterior of the upper pattern via the insulation panel, wherein the reinforce plate includes an insertion hole with a specific diameter for receiving the upper pattern at an inner central portion thereof and the upper pattern is inserted and received in the insertion hole. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent an electric short circuit and improve a contact rate, a click rate and clicking feeling when a button key of an electronic component is pressed. |
