PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid FRP reinforcement bar which efficiently introduces prestress, and a prestress introduction method. SOLUTION: The hybrid structured FRP reinforcement bar 10 is obtained by combining at least two types of fibers (a carbon fiber 12 and a glass fiber 14) having different coefficients of linear expansion. The reinforcement bar is composed of bar-like body 10a to be molded while bonding bundles of each fiber 12, 14 by a thermosetting resin together in a radial direction. The carbon fiber 12 is conduction-heated and a curing material is provided so as to bury the bar-like body 10a therein, while keeping the glass fiber 14 expanded. After the curing material is cured, current supplied to the carbon fibers 12 is stopped, introducing prestress to the curing material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
