PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image generation system which can generate a moving image from continuous still images and can enjoy it and to provide a moving image display method and s web server for supporting the method. SOLUTION: A series of plural time sequential image data which a user continuously photographs by a digital camera (50), or a cutout image data string (n pieces of continuous images) obtained by removing a background image from the image data by image processing technique and cutting a subject or a combined image data string obtained by attaching the cutout image string to the other background image is generated. A user PC (10) transmits (uploads) the data string as the image data string of still images to the web server (20). The web server (20) converts the received cutout image data string into a moving image.
