PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method of printed matter which does not change the visual effects in a part stretched at molding, and can form a molding having a high-quality appearance. SOLUTION: The printing method performs printing by making paint adhere to a sheet-shape workpiece to be formed with a convex part by embossing. In the sheet-shape workpiece, as for data to be printed to a correction permitting area 9 between a superposing lattice 7 corresponding to an outline 6 of the convex part in a plane view and a separated position 8 separated from the superposing lattice 7 toward the outside of the outline 6 by a distance equivalent to a height dimension of the convex part, printing is performed on the workpiece in a state that the data is corrected in only the number A of pixels obtained by multiplying the printing resolution by the height dimension of the convex part to increase an amount of the paint used for printing.
