The present invention relates to a memory interface device and a memory interface method for a display apparatus, capable of easily updating a memory which is write-protected in an assembled state. The memory interface method according to the present invention comprises: a memory mounted on a circuit board; a first wiring connected to a write protection terminal of the memory; a second wiring connected to a power supply terminal of a driving IC; a first resistor connected in serial between the first wiring and the second wiring; and a third wiring connected between the first wiring and a connector. When the memory is mounted on the circuit board and assembly is completed, the write protection terminal of the memory is connected to the power supply terminal of the driving IC through the first and second wirings and the first resistor and is set to a write protection state. When a data writer is connected to the connector for data updating of the memory, a ground power is supplied to the write protection terminal from the data writer through the connector, the third wiring, and the first wiring, and the write protection state is automatically released. |
