A camera module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to considerably reduce the possibility of contamination due to fine particles by simplifying the package method of the camera module, thereby minimizing the manufacturing cost. An image sensor(24) converts an optical image into an electrical signal. As a plurality of lenses and an infrared filter are laminated, a reflowable stacked lens(23) is attached to an upper side of the image sensor by a transparent adhesive. A housing(22) covers the outer blocks of the image sensor and reflowable stacked lens to protect them. A printed circuit board(20) performs the soldering surface mounting on a lower surface of the image sensor and on the housing. The reflowable stacked lens and housing are made of the heat resistance material. |
