The present invention relates to a case with a safety vent, a manufacturing method thereof, and an energy storage device using the same. The purpose of the present invention is to manufacture the safety vent for solving an explosion problem easily and simply, occurring inside a case by quickly discharging gas generated inside the case to the outside through the safety vent. The case according to the present invention comprises a case body and the safety vent. The case body is made from a metal material and has a cylindrical shape. The safety vent is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the case body by a press process, has a thinner thickness than the thickness of the periphery by the press process, and has a long groove at the center in the axial direction of the case body. |
