A communication service system utilizing an electronic tag and a gift and a method thereof are provided to make the communication between a gift sender and a receiver possible based on the portable Internet by attaching the electronic tag to the gift. A database stores the first terminal information, corresponding to the code information of an electronic tag, and the second terminal information. A service server(310) receives gift delivery information corresponding to the code information from a sales server or the first terminal(110), and then stores the received information in the database. A service server receives contents from the first terminal, and then stores the inputted contents in the database. When the code information of the electronic tag is received from the second terminal(120), the service server reads the contents corresponding to the code information from the database, and then provides the read information to the second terminal. |
