Provided is a method for removing and collecting arsenic from a gold concentrate by a thermal decomposition process. The method for removing and collecting arsenic from the gold concentrate comprises the steps of: heating a powder-type gold concentrate at the sublimation point of arsenic contained in the gold concentrate or at a higher temperature under the atmosphere of inert gas, in order to thermally decompose the gold concentrate; and filtering exhaust gas generated by the thermal decomposition to collect arsenic contained in the exhaust gas. According to the present invention, the arsenic can be efficiently removed from the gold concentrate, thereby maximizing the collection rate of gold in a refining process. In addition, the arsenic contained in the exhaust gas generated by the thermal decomposition can be easily collected by a filter-type dust collector such as a bag filter, thereby minimizing environmental problems caused by discharged arsenic gas while optimizing the added value of waste resources. |
