Disclosed are a system for controlling a kids electric vehicle using a portable terminal apparatus and a control method using the same. The system for controlling a kids electric vehicle using a portable terminal apparatus comprises: a wired and wireless interface to which near field communication system is applied; a portable terminal apparatus that is linked with the wired and wireless interface; and a kids electric vehicle which is linked with the portable terminal apparatus, has a communication module for receiving a communication signal transmitted from the portable terminal apparatus, and performs a stop motion depending on the signal transmitted to the communication module.
