An electrical fitting 1 such as a downlight is recessed in a ceiling panel 2. A problem with prior art designs is that if the electronics of the fitting fail, it is necessary to remove and replace the whole unit. It can be difficult to remove the unit from the ceiling without damaging the panel around the aperture. The problem is solved by providing a two part fitting in which a first part 3 is supported within the aperture in the panel 2, and a second part 40 that includes the electronics is releasably attached to the first part 3. A heat sink 4 is arranged on a first side of the unit in thermal contact therewith.
|
