A digital image processing device and a control method are provided to store the information of a first file and a second file which includes different kind of data respectively, and to be able to store the information of the second file into the first file in a digital image device. A first storage media(111) stores a first file. A second storage media(112) stores a second file. The first file and the second file comprise data of different formats. A control unit(120) adds the second file data to the first file. The control unit stores the first file in the first storage media. At this time, the control unit converts the format of the second file data into the format to be stored in the first file. The control unit inserts the converted second file data into the determined location of the first file. |
