The present invention relates to a simulation apparatus for billet casting and continuous casting, using mold casting, which is capable of simplifying a continuous casting facility by combining the advantages of the continuous casting and mold casting, and improving the quality of the mold casting, wherein the quality is a weak point of the mold casting, to the quality level of a continuously casted billet. The present invention provides the simulation apparatus for billet casting and continuous casting, using mold casting, which comprises a melting furnace having a certain metal molten therein; a tapping rate control device installed inside the melting furnace, for controlling the tapping rate by opening and closing a tapping gate of the melting furnace; a nozzle installed on the tapping gate, for tapping molten metal outside; a mold having the molten metal tapped through the nozzle thereto; an electromagnetic stirring device installed outside the mold, for stirring the molten metal; and a cooling device installed outside the mold, for cooling the mold. |
