<p>A laminate has multiple layers with adhesive therebetween, each layer has an aperture offset from the aperture of another layer, and a channel extends between the layers to form a vent through the packaging. The adhesive in the channel can be different from the surrounding adhesive, for example because it is releasable rather than permanent, because it is a thinner layer, because it is less sticky or because it is missing altogether. There can be two or three layers in the laminate, one of which is metallic. The sheet can surround tobacco, either around or within a box.</p> |
