<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which can prevent an information leak accident. <P>SOLUTION: A controller (SPB) 20 installed at a position where an output from a printer 11 is secured is provided. The SPB 20 has an authentication function 29 of authenticating execution of a printing job 51 transmitted from a PC via a LAN 2 to be output from the printer 11 by providing of authentication information at a point-blank range of the SPB 20, a power supply control function 27 of starting power supply to the printer 11 by authentication of the authentication function 29, and a virtual PC function 28 of providing the printer 11 with the printing job 51 by authentication of the authentication function 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
