摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency by changing an engine output without reducing thermal efficiency of an engine and by causing a power generation output of an electric power generation device to be variable in accordance with a request electric power at an electric power load. SOLUTION: An engine output control means 101 may freely execute EGR control and rotation speed control in a form in which a control cycle is repeated each time when the rotation speed control is executed. In the control cycle, when reducing an engine output, EGR control is performed first, and the rotation speed control is performed next while setting an EGR rate to zero. In the control for reducing the engine output, in each control cycle, the EGR control is continued in a form for increasing the EGR rate until a shift condition is satisfied, wherein the thermal efficiency when performing the EGR control is smaller than that when performing the rotation speed control. When the shift condition is satisfied, the control state of performing the EGR control shifts to the control state of performing the rotation speed control while setting the EGR rate to zero.
