The present invention relates to a geared motor for an indoor air circulation device for a subway vehicle which can be provided with an excellent durability, prevent a driving worm from being separated from a rotary shaft of a main motor even when the main motor is reversely rotated, eliminate or alleviate a noise and idling problem by restraining a gap change and a thermal deformation due to frictional heat generated between a worm and a worm wheel. The geared motor for an indoor air circulation device for a subway vehicle according to the present invention includes: a reduction gear unit (200) provided at one side of a casing of a main motor (100); a reduction gear box (210); a cover (230) assembled on one surface of the reduction gear box and opened and closed during a repair thereof; a reduction gear shaft (220) installed to cross an interior of the reduction gear box to be rotated in the reduction gear box; a reduction worm wheel (222) mounted to one end of the reduction gear shaft; a reduction gear worm (223) mounted to an opposite end of the reduction gear shaft; a driving worm (221) mounted to a rotary shaft of the main motor passing through the interior of the reduction gear box and the cover to be engaged with the reduction worm wheel; a branch shaft (240) one end of which is supported by an inner wall of the reduction gear box to be freely rotatable and an opposite end of which passes through the cover to be supported such that the branch shaft (240) is perpendicular to an axis line of the reduction gear shaft while being parallel to an axis line of the rotary shaft of the main motor; and an output worm wheel (224) mounted to the branch shaft to be engaged with the reduction worm. The driving worm is manufactured of a material having mechanical and thermal characteristics which are more excellent than those of the reduction worm wheel and is fixed to the rotary shaft of the main motor through bolts.
