<p>The present invention provides a cap plate for a secondary battery having a vent structure, which can prevent a danger of explosion of the battery by bursting out a vent structure to solve an internal pressure problem when a pressure of the inside of a battery is abnormally generated and causes the danger of the explosion, and a method of manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a vent unit (20) having a vent structure, in which a material flowing when a vent recess (21) is formed in a body (12) of a cap plate (10) by applying an inverted extrusion process of a pressing method is moved toward the upper surface (12a) of the body (12) to form a vent flange (24). Accordingly, a problem of the related art occurring when a material flowing when the vent structure is formed is moved to the body (12) can be effectively prevented while a vent structure is integrally formed with the body (12).</p> |
