PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clathrate complex improving storage stability and effectively curing a resin, and to provide an epoxy resin composition which improves storage stability of a sealing material and obtaining a curing speed of efficient sealing material by virtue of heat. SOLUTION: The clathrate complex includes at least one kind selected from a group consisting of 4,4',4''-trihydroxy triphenyl methane, tris(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate and 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxy benzophenone and at least one kind of imidazole compound and 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0] undecene-7(DBU) represented by the formula (I).
