PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comb plate of a passenger conveyer, wherein comb pieces are not susceptible to damage by an impact from the outside. SOLUTION: The comb plate 3 of an escalator is attached to a platform floor 2 of a platform, and prevent entrance of foreign matter between a tread 1 and the platform floor 2. The comb plate 3 comprises: a base part 4 fixed to the platform floor 2 through screws 6; and comb part 5 formed integrally with the base part 4, and having a plurality of comb pieces 7 meshed with a plurality of grooves formed to the tread 1.
