The pod (10) includes a filtering body (11) which defines a space (12) that contains the food substance from which the beverage is obtained. The filtering body(l1) has on the outside a flange (13). There is a recognition element (15) associated to the filtering body (11) which can be recognized and/or interpreted by a recognition device (104) of the beverage dispenser (100).
