The present invention relates to a laminating fabric for an air bag, having a multilayer structure of laminating layers consisting of a first laminating layer including an adhesive polymer film having a melting point of 50-150°C formed on a surface of the fabric and a second laminating layer including a gas barrier polymer film having a melting point of 100°C or higher; and to a method for preparing the same. According to the present invention, a predetermined thermoplastic polymer film is attached on the surface of the fabric in a multilayer laminating manner, thereby ensuring high internal pressure retaining capacity and high tensile strength, tear strength, and slippage resistance, which are required for a side curtain air bag cushion or the like, and providing excellent receipt capacity, shape stability, and air barrier effect, so that the present invention can safely protect passengers even in a vehicle crash or rollover. |
