摘要

The present invention relates to uranium oxide nuclear fuel pellet to seize fission products in a micro cell of the pellet. Provided are the uranium oxide pellet and a method of manufacturing the same, which reduces the damage rate of nuclear fuel in a normal operating condition in order to improve economic feasability and which simultaneously suppresses the release of a radioactive material to the environment in an accident condition in order to improve safety, by arranging 50-400μm of the micro cell with a ceramic material which has a chemical affinity with the fission products in the uranium oxide pellet in order to seize the fission products adsorbed to a micro cell wall.
