PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproduction device capable of recommending music that does not interfere with reading of an electronic book. SOLUTION: A content reproduction device comprises: an electronic book reproduction section for reproducing an electronic book file; a music reproduction section for reproducing a music file; a page progress evaluation section for calculating a page progress value indicative of page reading progress for the electronic book file being reproduced during reproduction of the music file; a music evaluation section for using the page progress value to calculate an evaluation point for the music file; and a music recommendation section for referring to a music attribute table to evaluate an attribute value for each category based on the evaluation point of the music file and an attribute value of the music file, and recommending the music file based on evaluation of the attribute value.
