The device has a shell (2), a sleeve (7) with expandable units (71,72) and another sleeve (80) with a sensor (81). The expandable unit exerts pressure on a surface. The expandable units are chambers, augmentation units or positioning units. The sensor is suitable for measuring the heart rate, the heart ventricle pressure, the systolic blood pressure, the diastolic blood pressure or a combination of these. The sensor is an electrode, a pressure sensor, a pH-sensor, a liquid sensor or a flow sensor.
