The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus comprising a drum provided to be able to rotate inside a cabinet; a connection duct for exhausting the inner air of the drum; an exhaustion duct provided in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the drum, wherein the connection duct is connected to the exhaustion duct; and a filter assembly provided in the exhaustion duct and including a filter part for filtering air and a foreign substance removing part for removing a foreign substance remaining in the filter part.
