摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing sintered ore of high strength and high quality in safety in high yield in a downward suction type sintering machine. SOLUTION: A charging layer is formed by charging a sintering raw material including powdered ore and a carbon material onto a circulating pallet 6, the carbon material of the charging layer is ignited in an ignition furnace 10, a gas fuel is jetted to the atmospheric air above the charging layer by a plurality of gas fuel supply devices 12a-12c disposed at a downstream side of the ignition furnace 10, and mixed with the air, and the diluted gas fuel is introduced into the charging layer by suction force of a wind box 25. The sintering machine has an abnormality detecting section for independently detecting abnormality in each of the plurality of gas fuel supply devices 12a-12c, and a gas fuel cutoff control section for controlling a cutoff valve of the gas fuel supply device to a closed state when the abnormality of the gas fuel supply device is detected by the abnormality detecting section.
