The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cotton linter pulp and a cotton linter pulp manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing a cotton linter pulp according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a process of mechanically removing a foreign material; a cooking or digesting step using an alkali solution; a cleaning process; and a bleaching process using a bleaching solution. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the method for manufacturing a cotton linter pulp improves the efficiency of bleaching.
