According to the present invention, a method for determining an offset of a sensor in an electric power steering system comprises a first step of acquiring an offset value of the sensor for a predetermined time after startup of a vehicle; and a second step of compensating for the sensor according to the acquired offset value. According to the present invention, the method for determining an offset of a sensor in an electric power steering system acquires an offset value for a predetermined time after startup of a vehicle without correcting an offset of the sensor during the manufacturing process of the electric power steering system and compensates for the sensor based on the acquired offset value not to require a separate process during the manufacture of the electric power steering system, thereby shortening the manufacturing time. |
