Editorial curation of search results includes: receiving a search results page rendered in response to a search query; receiving user edits to the search results page, the user edits including changes to objects in the search results page; and applying the user edits to the search results page.

1. A method for editorial curation of search results, comprising using a processor device performing:
receiving a search results page rendered in response to a search query; receiving user edits comprising changes to objects in the search results page; determining whether the user edits should be applied globally; applying the user edits to the search results page globally when it is determined that said user edits are to be applied globally; and applying the user edits locally when it is determined that said user edits are not to be applied globally.
