The present invention relates to a station for a light rail transit and, more particularly, to a station for a light rail transit which is designed in such a way that a stop railroad of a platform is higher than a main line runway connected to the station in order to reduce energy consumption due to brake of the vehicle by reducing speed of a vehicle while the vehicle passes an uphill section when entering the station, enhance energy efficiency by reducing energy consumed when the vehicle starts from the stop railroad of the platform to the main line runway along a downhill section, and enhance convenience of passengers who use the light rail transit by locating a waiting room and the platform on the same floor. In order to achieve the object, the station for the light rail transit according to the present invention has the waiting room and the platform arranged on the same floor. |
