Disclosed are a method and a system for playing content. In the method for playing content using a player device which is linked with a service server, control information for playing the content according to the request is received after a content provision request for playing arbitrary content is transmitted to the service server. Then, whether to perform a section replay is determined to play the content by using at least one of a playback history of the content and the control information according to a content type. |
