The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating electric stimulation and a method for controlling the same. The present invention comprises a user input unit including treatment spot selection buttons for defining where to treat; a treatment parameter storage unit where parameters for treatment for generating electric stimulation which is applied to the treatment spots selected by the treatment spot selection buttons are stored; an electric stimulation output unit which outputs the electric stimulation to the treatment spots; and a controlling unit which loads the treatment parameters according to the treatment spot selection buttons from the user input unit and controls the electric stimulation output unit to output the electric stimulation corresponding to the treatment parameters. Accordingly, the present invention enables users to use the apparatus effectively based on the users′physical status by storing customized parameters for treatment reflecting the physiological characteristics and the conditions which causes paralysis of the muscles of the treatment spots, and using programs for shortcut buttons and the chosen buttons in order to generate the most effective electric stimulating signals by users′choices, and it is also possible to conduct optimized electric stimulation by simple operation.
