A data management method by iris authentication according to the present invention comprises the steps of: performing a first ID authentication step for checking if an input ID matches an authorization ID and transferring a stored permitted iris template in relation to authorization ID to a storage device when a main device receives an ID from a user prior to authentication; creating an iris template of the pre-authentication user prior to authentication, performing an iris authentication step to compare the iris template prior to authentication with the transferred permitted iris template, and transferring the authentication success information to the main device when a storage device receives an authorization command; and determining the user prior to authentication as the authorized user based on the authentication success information transferred from the storage device using the main device, and allowing manipulation of the storage device. |
