FIXING APPARATUS FOR TREATING PATIENT WITH ELECTRON BEAM

The present invention relates to a device for fixing a patient for electron beam therapy. By means of the device, the body of a patient can be fixed when electron beams are irradiated onto the affected area of patient so as to treat cancer which has occurred in the whole body of the patient. The device comprises: a front surface frame which is disposed along an electron beam penetration window made of transparent material so as to enable the electron beams to penetrate therethrough so that the electron beam penetration window is supported thereby; and a top surface frame which is extended from the top of the front surface frame in a vertical direction with respect to the front surface frame. The top surface frame includes electron beam shielding gloves which are extended from and supported by the top surface frame, are made of material for shielding the electron beams so as to protect the hands of the patient from the electron beams, and enable the hands of the patient to be inserted therein and fixed thereto while the patient poses for evenly receiving the irradiated electron beams on his/her whole body.
