发明名称 Anchor device and method
摘要 Some embodiments of an anchor device may include bendable anchor mechanism that is deployable in a subcutaneous layer to releasably secure the anchor device to a patient's body. Certain embodiments of the anchor mechanism may include one or more barbs that flexibly bend in response to an insertion or removal force. As such, the anchor mechanism may be inserted into a subcutaneous layer, and removed from the subcutaneous layer, without the need for a separate actuation device to extend or retract the barbs.

主权项 1. A system for securing a tubular medical device at a skin incision location, comprising: a tubular medical device configured to advance through a skin penetration point, the tubular medical device comprising a longitudinal axis, an inner lumen, and an outer tubular wall extending for a longitudinal length from a proximal end portion to a distal tip; an anchor base comprising a tubular structure engaged around a portion of the outer tubular wall of the tubular medical device such that the tubular structure of the anchor base is axially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the tubular medical device, the anchor base having a maximum longitudinal length that is shorter than the longitudinal length of the tubular medical device, the anchor base being engaged with the tubular medical device at a location so that a distal-most end of the anchor base is spaced proximally from the distal tip by a distance greater than the maximum longitudinal length of the anchor base, wherein the anchor base comprises two or more subcutaneous anchor barbs that are a unitary structure with the tubular structure of the anchor base, the subcutaneous anchor barbs extending outwardly away from one another and away from the outer wall of the tubular medical device when the subcutaneous anchor barbs are deployed in a subcutaneous layer adjacent to the skin penetration point of the tubular medical device, wherein each of the subcutaneous anchor barbs comprises a free end that extends toward the proximal end portion of the tubular medical device when in an insertion orientation and that extends toward the distal tip of the tubular medical device when in a removal orientation, the subcutaneous anchor barbs being flexibly bendable to the removal orientation when the anchor base is withdrawn from the subcutaneous layer and out through the skin penetration point.
