An apparatus and a method for a group merging generation are provided to efficiently use a surplus power inside a group by using an average consumed power inside a set group in advance. An apparatus for a group merging generation includes a power detecting part(300), a generation capacity calculating part(400), and a central controller(500). The power detecting part detects whole power consumption of generation systems(201~20N) included inside a predetermined group(100). The generation capacity calculating part calculates generation capacity based on the whole power consumption according to the generation systems. The central control part controls the generation systems based on the calculated power capacity. The generation systems generate a power as the power capacity calculated according to a control of the central control part. The generation systems include a distributed generator and a load. The distributed generator produces the power. The load consumes the generated power. |
