METHOD FOR PREDICTING RESIDUAL LIFE OF BEARING

The present invention relates to a method for predicting the residual life of a bearing, which includes the steps of setting the current time as reference time and setting a period to use the bearing as future time; measuring an evaluation factor of the bearing; finding an acceptable reference value of the evaluation factor and an arithmetic mean of values exceeding the acceptable reference value after measuring the evaluation factor; and calculating the residual life of the bearing by substituting the reference time, the future time, the acceptable reference value, and the arithmetic mean into an expression. Thereby, the residual life of the bearing is predicted by analyzing the change of an abnormal pattern of the bearing through a time-series graph.
