The present invention relates to a steering angle sensor for a vehicle. According to the present invention, the steering angle sensor for a vehicle includes: a center gear connected to a rotary shaft of a steering handle to be rotated; a plurality of planetary gears engaged with the center gear and rotated by rotation of the steering handle; a ring gear having the inner peripheral surface engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the planetary gears, and rotated by the rotation of the steering handle; a magnet connected to the ring gear, and rotated together with the ring gear; and a hole sensor configured to detect the rotation of the magnet. According to the present invention as described above, an absolute angle relative to an angle at which the handle is rotated can be calculated, a rotating angle of the handle can be accurately measured based on the calculated absolute angle and a gear ratio, and thus the vehicle can be steered by using an electrical power generated by using a motor and the sensors using the measured rotating angle of the handle.
