The present invention relates to a walking assist device comprising: a base unit including a support unit which fixes the upper body of a user and of which at least a part slides so as to selectively support the hips of the user; a walk training device which is coupled with the base unit and formed in order to enable the legs of the user to be settled thereon so as to operate correspondingly to the movement of the legs of the user; and an ascending and descending unit which is coupled with the base unit so as to support the base unit at a particular height from the ground and selectively ascends or descends the base unit so as to adjust the height of the upper body of the user.
