<p>The invention relates to a support unit (1) for supporting a drain tap (23) in a flexible bag located in a bag in box (BIB) liquid dispenser. The support unit (1) comprises a substantially planar plate (2) with a least one surface adapted to abut the outer surface of the box and the support unit further comprise a slit (3) to receive the drain tap (23) when lead through the wall of the box and form a supporting collar around the drain tap (23) where the plate area next to the slit (3) is tapering towards the opening of the slit thereby forming two tapering areas (5a, 5b) on each side of the slit.
