The present invention relates to an OLED display device and a method for driving the same. The OLED display device comprises multiple pixels, each of which includes a light emitting element and a pixel driving circuit for driving the light emitting element. The pixel driving circuit includes the following: a driving switching element connected in series between a high potential voltage supply line and a low potential voltage supply line, together with the light emitting element; an initial switching element for interconnecting a reference voltage supply line and a first node which is connected to a gate of the driving switching element, and which responds to a second scan signal; a second switching element for connecting the first node and second node in response to a light emitting signal; a third switching element for supplying a data voltage, which is provided from a data line, to the second node, in response to the second scan signal; a fourth switching element for connecting an initialization voltage to a third node which is connected to an anode of the light emitting element and a source of the driving switching element, in response to a first scan signal; and a capacitor connected between the second node and the third node. |
