The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for sensing a touch input. The apparatus for sensing the touch input of the present invention includes a panel unit on which a plurality of driving electrodes and a plurality of sensing electrodes are provided; a driving circuit unit applying a driving signal to each of the driving electrodes; a sensing circuit unit measuring a change in capacity of a node capacitor generated at the intersection of the driving electrodes and the sensing electrodes; a signal conversion unit generating a first digital signal based on the change in capacity; and a calculation unit determining a touch input by the first digital signal, wherein the driving circuit unit and the sensing circuit unit operate by an input voltage and the signal conversion unit and the calculation unit operate by an LDO voltage generated by decreasing the input voltage.
