The present invention relates to a structure and a method for installing a thermal insulator which can prevent dew condensation generated inside a concrete structure by effectively blocking a thermal bridge by a temperature difference between the inside and the outside when a thermal insulator is installed in the concrete structure. The structure for installing the thermal insulator according to the present invention includes a plurality of fasteners inserted into the thermal insulator and fixed to the concrete structure to combine the thermal insulator and the concrete structure; and a thermal bridge blocking material which charges the inside of each fastener to block the thermal bridge of the concrete structure, wherein the fastener includes a body part having a hollow part therein and a fastening pin which passes the body part and is fixed to the concrete structure.
